Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Telehealth Weight Loss

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct telehealth consultations with both new and returning patients (typically 16–20 daily), ensuring adequate time and clinical support for each appointment.

• Evaluate and manage weight-related conditions along with comorbidities through a primary care perspective.

• Offer evidence-based recommendations on weight loss medications (including GLP-1s like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro) and lifestyle modifications.

• Address patient inquiries in our care platform concerning treatment plans and their progress.

• Establish a strong, compassionate relationship with patients who are living with overweight or obesity.

• Uphold full HIPAA compliance in all communications and documentation.

• Stay informed about best practices in obesity medicine, chronic disease management, and primary care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active NP or PA license in California (required — additional licensure in TX, FL, or NY is highly advantageous).

• NP (certified by ANCC/AANP) or PA (certified by NCCPA) with over 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience.

• Background in primary care.

• At least 6 months of experience supporting weight management patients, including prescribing and managing injectable medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro) is preferred.

• Familiarity with compounded weight loss medications is a plus.

• Proficient with telemedicine platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and clinical documentation tools.

• Exceptional communication skills and an empathetic, patient-centered approach.

• Self-motivated individual with a genuine passion for assisting patients in achieving their health objectives.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional remote work environment.

• Must successfully pass a background check and be eligible for Medicare enrollment.
