Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant

📋 Description

• Engage in thoughtful and intuitive questioning through video or secure chat to uncover the root issues related to illness, injury, or medical conditions.

• Apply clinical expertise, patient history, and remote diagnostic tools to deliver accurate and informed assessments in a virtual environment.

• Effectively order, interpret, and follow up on lab tests, using digital platforms to customize and coordinate each patient's care plan.

• Write prescriptions electronically and provide clear explanations regarding their proper use, administration, and potential side effects, ensuring patients feel informed and confident through virtual or written communication.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, fellow APPs, and the broader care team to ensure seamless, coordinated care with a patient-first mindset.

• Address emerging challenges with innovative, patient-centric solutions that adjust to the realities and opportunities presented by virtual care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active, unrestricted license as an APP. NPs are required to have a compact nursing license.

• At least four (4) years of experience providing care in primary, family, urgent, or emergency care settings.

• Excellent communication and digital literacy skills to engage effectively with patients and team members in a virtual setting.

• While not mandatory, bilingual candidates in English and Spanish are preferred.

• Although this is a remote position, applicants must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Texas.
