
Nurse Practitioner – National After-Hours Team, Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Act as the primary support contact for residents and facility personnel during after-hours, offering guidance and medical assistance via telephone.
• Utilize Curana’s telephonic system to facilitate communication, coordinating care among facilities, hospitals, and clinics.
• Provide high-quality, cost-efficient care to patients, addressing acute, chronic, and behavioral health needs in partnership with physicians and specialty providers.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document encounters in the EMR, ensuring adherence to CMS regulations.
• Implement Curana’s clinical protocols and practice guidelines to promote safe and effective treatment whenever feasible.
• Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current, unrestricted licensure in Louisiana is mandatory.
• Additional active licenses in Texas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Kentucky, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico are highly preferred.
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANP, FNP, or GNP).
• Capability to obtain DEA licensure / Prescriptive Authority.
• Experience in managing acute and chronic diseases.
• Clinical experience in adult, family, or geriatric care.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Ability to establish a collaborative practice agreement, if required in your state(s).
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts in accordance with scheduling policies.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to document medical information in both written and electronic medical records.
