Nuclear Drafter/Designer – Multiple Disciplines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and update discipline-specific drawings, layouts, details, and design documentation for commercial nuclear projects.

• Utilize engineering markups, redlines, specifications, field data, and existing plant drawings as a basis for work.

• Assist with design modifications, plant updates, replacement tasks, and documentation for construction support.

• Collaborate with engineers, reviewers, and multi-disciplinary project teams to address drawing and design challenges.

• Ensure accuracy, maintain revision control, and uphold documentation quality throughout the design workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent experience in commercial nuclear design or drafting is essential.

• Proficiency in one or more disciplines: structural, electrical, mechanical, or piping design is required.

• Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is necessary.

• Candidates for electrical positions should be familiar with wiring diagrams, schematics, raceway layouts, or similar electrical design documentation.

• Candidates for structural roles should have knowledge of foundations, structures, equipment supports, or corresponding structural details.

• Candidates in mechanical/piping must possess experience with P&IDs, piping layouts, pumps, motors, or related mechanical system drawings.

• Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings, engineering markups, specifications, and plant documentation is required.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, communication abilities, and capability to thrive in a quality-focused design environment are essential.

• Upon hire, completion of a Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification will be mandatory at the start of employment.
