NSQIP-Peds SCR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conducts primary data abstraction responsibilities for NSQIP-Peds, ensuring high standards of abstraction accuracy for designated accounts through validation efforts.

• Gathers and abstracts information from patient medical records, particularly those pertaining to surgical interventions.

• Guarantees the precision and completeness of the abstracted information.

• This task includes cross-referencing data from various sources within a patient's medical history.

• Follows defined clinical data abstraction guidelines and standards.

• Inputs the abstracted data into a database or registry, often utilizing specialized software.

• Engages in quality assurance activities to uphold data integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in abstracting NSQIP-Peds measures within the last 2 years is essential.

• Current SCR is mandatory.

• Proficient in medical records, billing/documentation procedures, Microsoft Office, and fundamental healthcare quality principles.

• Capability to work independently.

• Relies on experience and judgment to achieve objectives.

• Upholds a strict level of confidentiality in all work aspects.

• Exhibits a high standard of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities.

• BSN, LPN, or RN is preferred.

• CPHQ designation is preferred.
