This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for legislation throughout North America and Canada.
• Provide advice on various projects regarding authoritative sources, acquisition models, update frequencies, completeness requirements, and jurisdictional specifics.
• Establish content acquisition criteria and ensure dependable source coverage that aligns with global standards.
• Offer expert advice on conversion rules, data modeling, versioning requirements, and publication workflows.
• Create and execute a content strategy for each jurisdiction, tailored to customer needs, commercial objectives, and global product roadmaps.
• Recognize new legislative opportunities, areas for expansion, or enhancements in coverage to boost market competitiveness.
• Manage editorial expertise across multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to global editorial standards.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in legal research, editorial positions, or legislative content management.
• Proven track record of leading agile ceremonies and implementing agile methodologies in a content or technology setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in AI, including hands-on experience with AI tools, Large Language Models (LLMs), and automation in editorial processes.
• Strong comprehension of legislative frameworks and processes within the specialist jurisdiction, along with a working knowledge of other significant jurisdictions.
