This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee daily operations for DwyerOmega’s distribution centers located in South Bend, IN, and Swedesboro, NJ.
• Create and execute scalable processes, procedures, and best practices to support a top-tier distribution model.
• Promote operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Cultivate a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, safety, and performance.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory, quality, and safety standards across both facilities.
• Assist in defining and implementing the future vision for North American distribution operations.
• Identify opportunities for streamlining workflows, improving inventory management, optimizing space utilization, and elevating overall supply chain performance.
• Spearhead initiatives that modernize warehouse and distribution processes to support company growth and scalability.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish operational standards, KPIs, and long-term strategic plans.
• Build, mentor, and motivate high-performing teams across various locations.
• Foster an environment of continuous learning, collaboration, and professional development.
• Coach leaders and team members to enhance operational capabilities and drive engagement.
• Promote effective communication and alignment between sites and cross-functional departments.
• Lead impactful projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing service quality.
• Work with cross-functional teams including operations, transportation, procurement, customer service, and global partners to implement innovative solutions.
• Advocate for Lean principles, continuous improvement, and process optimization initiatives that align with business objectives.
• Drive positive organizational change through effective project execution and leadership.
• Monitor and enhance key operational metrics such as order accuracy, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, productivity, shipping costs, and overall warehouse efficiency.
• Analyze operational performance data to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas needing improvement.
• Develop and implement corrective actions that yield measurable improvements in service, cost, and operational performance.
• Establish performance standards and reporting mechanisms that promote continuous improvement and operational excellence across both distribution centers.
• Collaborate with transportation teams to identify and implement cost-effective carrier and logistics solutions.
• Supervise the effective use and ongoing enhancement of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Ensure accurate inventory levels through efficient cycle count programs and inventory control processes.
• Assess and implement technologies that enhance operational visibility and efficiency.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of proven leadership experience in managing multi-site distribution or warehouse operations.
• Strong comprehension of supply chain, logistics, and distribution best practices.
• Demonstrated success in leading operational improvement and transformation initiatives.
• Experience in developing processes, procedures, and scalable operational models.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
