Nonprofit Fundraising Manager

📋 Description

• Demonstrated experience in fundraising within nonprofit organizations, particularly in areas such as rare diseases, healthcare, medical research, patient advocacy, or other mission-driven sectors.

• Proven track record of successfully securing funding from individuals, major donors, corporations, foundations, grantmakers, or government entities.

• Experience in managing crowdfunding, peer-to-peer, or digital fundraising campaigns utilizing platforms like GoFundMe or comparable services.

• Strong capabilities in grant research, proposal writing, donor communication, relationship management, and delivering presentations.

• Ability to convey complex medical or scientific concepts into clear, credible, and engaging messaging for donors.

• A resourceful and entrepreneurial mindset towards garnering support for a specialized cause with a limited global patient demographic.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that encompasses individual donations, major gifts, corporate partnerships, grants, sponsorships, and crowdfunding efforts.

• Identify, nurture, and engage potential donors, foundations, corporations, government funding agencies, and strategic partners.

• Create compelling fundraising narratives, cases for support, proposals, presentations, sponsorship packages, and communications for donors.

• Plan and oversee digital fundraising campaigns through GoFundMe or similar platforms, utilizing email, social media, and other online channels effectively.

• Establish donor stewardship programs that enhance relationships, promote recurring donations, and increase donor retention.

• Set fundraising goals, timelines, budgets, reporting frameworks, and performance indicators.
