This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acquires knowledge of appropriate levels and methods for direct client interaction.
• Develops skills in drafting form letters and communication texts.
• Observes seasoned data associates and collaborates with other client-facing personnel during client site visits and conference calls.
• Gains proficiency in utilizing software tools to effectively and accurately perform job responsibilities, including word processing and spreadsheet tasks.
• Receives training on tasks essential for dataset preparation, which includes gathering and reviewing study documents, generating dataset files, and conducting quality checks.
• May gain experience in compiling metadata for databases that support nonclinical safety evaluations.
• Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned, including participation in company and/or industry initiatives related to dataset specifications and/or production.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ideally in life sciences, computer science/information systems, statistics, bioinformatics, or mathematics.
• Familiarity with or experience in programming applications or formulas such as SAS, R, Python, or a willingness to learn within the first year of employment.
• Experience or exposure to preclinical life sciences.
• Fundamental knowledge of office software (e.g., Microsoft® Office, particularly Word and Excel; Adobe® Acrobat®).
• Strong attention to detail, effective time management, and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to comprehend or learn scientific and medical terminology and concepts.
