This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct age-appropriate medical history assessments and virtual examinations, assess, diagnose, propose treatment plans, and accurately document findings in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional patient care while ensuring safety standards are met.
• Record patients' medical information and review their medical history during each visit.
• Seek consultations or referrals from other healthcare providers when necessary.
• Offer counseling and education to patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as required.
• Evaluate, triage, and manage pediatric and adult patients for acute care, with experience in chronic disease management and mental health conditions.
• Consistently update knowledge of current medical research and trends.
• Offer administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory test results.
• Successful completion of a 3-year residency in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• **Minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience in a fast-paced Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient environment.**
• Current ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Family Medicine or dual board certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
• Completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.
• Must be eligible for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC).
• **Possess an active and unrestricted state medical license in at least one state; residing in an IMLC state is essential.**
• **Experience and comfort in providing care across all age groups, from newborns to adults.**
• Capability to operate effectively within an integrated medical practice.
• Extensive clinical expertise.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven proficiency with technology.
• Not currently excluded or sanctioned by any state or federal healthcare program, including Medicare or Medicaid, and not identified as an “excluded person” by the Office of Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services or the General Services Administration (GSA), nor reprimanded or sanctioned by Medicare.
• Must maintain active status with Medicare.
