This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Examine and resolve incidents related to client services.
• Configure client services along with the necessary equipment.
• Utilize Speedcast’s Incident Management Tool to log and refresh reported issues from clients.
• Collaborate with clients to investigate problems and ensure incidents are either resolved or escalated as needed.
• Use monitoring and reporting tools to detect and address issues.
• Support the continual maintenance and enhancement of Speedcast Infrastructure.
• Understanding of ITIL best practices.
• Practical experience in providing support to remote customers in a network support capacity.
• Excellent network/IP troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with satellite technology (e.g., RF systems, iDirect, Gilat, Newtec).
• Knowledge of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology (e.g., Starlink, OneWeb).
• Relevant certifications (GVF, Cisco ICND/CCNA, ITIL Foundation).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Dataminer, Grafana).
• Proficiency in various computer operating systems, particularly Windows and Linux.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMWare, KWM, Proxmox, Docker, Container).
• Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies (e.g., Versa, Talari, Cisco SDWAN, Viptela).
• Familiarity with troubleshooting multi-path connectivity technologies (e.g., VSAT, LTE, Microwave link, LEO, Inmarsat, Iridium).
• Understanding of Cyber Security technologies.
• Experience in troubleshooting LAN and Wireless LAN connectivity.
