No-Fault Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for cases from beginning to end

• Prepare pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, and various other documents

• Collect and distribute information on behalf of clients

• Condense medical records and emphasize key details

• Create client reports outlining case status and upcoming steps

• Identify, investigate, and evaluate legal matters and conflicting legal interpretations

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Manage arbitrations and present motions

• Participate in both in-person and virtual court proceedings

• Advocate for clients in complex and high-stakes litigation

• Clarify litigation procedures to clients and others who may be unfamiliar with them

• Direct cases towards cost-effective, efficient, and fair outcomes

• Balance multiple assignments and meet deadlines

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation

• Preferred experience with PIP and SIU matters

• Proven experience in handling depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other intricate assignments

• Exceptional research, writing, and communication abilities

• Capability to manage a high-volume workload and daily case responsibilities

• Strong motivation to learn and progress within the legal field

• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with senior attorneys, partners, staff, clients, opposing counsel, and the judicial system

• Experience in billing for your time
