This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Engage with healthcare providers utilizing in-person, virtual, and digital platforms.
• Perform proactive outreach regarding product access, on-label information, and established patient care guidance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for healthcare professional customers.
• Direct customers to Customer Service Specialists and other colleagues as required.
• Facilitate speaker programs effectively.
• Organize local provider groups and discussions with local and regional leaders.
• Gather feedback on engagement quality and communicate opportunities to the Area Business Lead.
• Provide local market insights to support strategy and business objectives.
• Collaborate with ecosystem teams to refine targeting and call point strategies.
• Utilize customer insights to shape local strategy and business goals.
• Monitor territory progress and opportunities using competitive data, business reports, sales data, and promotional budgets.
• Educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Conduct office visits and sales presentations utilizing approved marketing materials and technical references.
• Foster relationships with office and practice staff while prioritizing patient health.
• Minimum of one of the following: 2+ years in pharmaceutical or medical device sales; less experience may be considered for those who successfully complete the Otsuka ReadyNow program.
• Alternatively, 3+ years of B2B or equivalent outside sales experience in regulated, clinical, or customer engagement environments.
• Or 2+ years of clinical healthcare experience, such as Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, RN, or similar, with responsibilities in patient-facing, medical education, or therapy-focused roles.
• Capability to communicate complex clinical information effectively.
• Skill in influencing stakeholders and translating scientific data into clear, actionable value propositions.
• Strong commitment to ethical business practices and a solid understanding of regulatory standards.
• Ability to carry out business activities in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
• Competence in assimilating and conveying complex clinical and product information.
• Must live within a commutable distance of 50 miles from the primary city in the sales territory.
• Familiarity with territory and business conditions.
• Proficiency in utilizing competitive data, business reports, sales data, and promotional budgets.
• Ability to educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Skill in using approved promotional materials.
• Competence in overcoming objections and influencing prescribing habits.
• Capability to identify professional groups within the territory and potential key opinion leaders.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with office and practice personnel.
• Proficient product knowledge of own offerings and competitors.
• Ability to deliver effective office visits and sales presentations using approved marketing materials and technical references.
