This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive sales performance in the designated territory by engaging with healthcare professionals and mental health community centers both in-person and virtually.
• Utilize allocated budgets to meet the objectives of the territory.
• Tailor conversations and interactions with clients according to their needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the local market, practice structures, key customers, and influencers.
• Share market insights with internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to regional resource allocation strategies.
• Identify and select suitable programs and resources for customers, practices, and systems.
• Collaborate with the Regional Business Manager and stakeholders to create a local business plan.
• Execute strategic initiatives to leverage formulary approvals and business opportunities.
• Work closely with Neuroscience Sales Specialists and exchange best practices.
• Accurately manage work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communications, synchronizations, samples, and expenses in a timely manner.
• Develop business plans that align with customer needs, resources, and products.
• Complete all assigned company and job-related training.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in healthcare sales/account management, business-to-business sales, or a recent transition from Active-Duty Military.
• Preferred: 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals.
• Highly preferred: Experience in launching, antipsychotic, and/or bi-polar sales.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• A strong desire and passion for enhancing the lives of patients and caregivers.
• High integrity and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Self-motivated with initiative, an entrepreneurial mindset, sound judgment, teamwork, and cross-functional skills.
• Proven ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Competence to adjust to changing telemedicine/virtual settings.
• Proficient in analyzing data and metrics.
• Experience in building customer relationships and conveying technical information to varied audiences.
• Willingness to attend meetings outside standard working hours.
• Ability to travel overnight based on territory geography and travel domestically for corporate headquarters, training, and sales meetings.
• Capability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
