This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
• Promote Acadia products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) both in-person and virtually, delivering clinical, disease state, and reimbursement information in a compliant and customer-centric manner.
• Create and implement a territory business strategy aimed at achieving or surpassing sales targets by utilizing market data, customer insights, and quarterly action plans.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with HCPs, including key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Effectively address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections using advanced dialogue techniques and selling skills.
• Customize approved sales materials, clinical reprints, and brand resources to cater to specific customer requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., managed markets, operations, sales training, marketing) to provide coordinated solutions.
• Offer expertise on product pricing, reimbursement, and specialty distribution channels, serving as a liaison between customers and the Company regarding access-related matters.
• Diligently track and report sales activities, business expenses, and customer engagements in a timely fashion.
• Represent Acadia at conferences, exhibits, and training sessions; participate in national, regional, and local meetings as necessary.
• Mentor and train new sales specialists as required, and contribute to cross-functional projects and provide field strategic insights.
• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a focus on life sciences.
• For the Sales Specialist role, a minimum of 3 years of sales experience is necessary, including at least 1 year in pharmaceutical or related healthcare sales, with a preference for neuroscience experience.
• To qualify for the Sr. Specialist level, candidates must have at least 8 years of healthcare sales experience, including a minimum of 2 years in complex or account-based selling environments.
• The Executive level requires a minimum of 12 years of healthcare sales experience, including at least 3 years in complex or account-based selling settings.
• Proven advanced selling skills, leadership capabilities, and strong business acumen are essential.
• A successful track record in influencing diverse HCP audiences across various care settings is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are critical.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changes, and consistently deliver high performance is necessary.
• Candidates must reside within the territory (or within 30 miles of its border) and hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to meet travel requirements, including significant driving and overnight stays; air travel as needed.
• Compliance with vaccination requirements for HCP office access, long-term care facilities, and medical conferences is mandatory.
