This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Propel product acceptance and expansion through focused education and strategic account management.
• Implement sales strategies for the territory via both in-person and virtual communications.
• Recognize and tackle territory-specific opportunities and obstacles to product success.
• Oversee promotional resources and manage the budget effectively.
• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, local/regional payers, and pharmacies.
• Provide education to physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders regarding product advantages.
• Work collaboratively with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines, best practices in the pharmaceutical industry, company values, and compliance policies.
• Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• BS/BA degree in science or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a similar area.
• More than 3 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical, long-term care, psychology, or neurology sales is highly desirable.
• Experience in close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly preferred.
• Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic treatment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation tools, and business intelligence platforms such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, or Veeva.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in science or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of best practices within functional disciplines and related business concepts.
• Strong awareness of the healthcare regulatory and enforcement landscape.
• Documented history of achieving or surpassing sales targets and successfully launching products in complex environments.
• Capability to lead and engage in cross-functional teams.
• Leadership skills, including the ability to guide lower-level and/or indirect teams.
• Proficiency in computer skills and a solid understanding of business systems.
• Expertise with sales platforms and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, or Veeva.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Robust sales and account management orientation.
• Ability to navigate complex accounts across diverse care settings.
• Familiarity with specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
• Results-driven, adaptable, effective in managing change, and capable of meeting multiple deadlines.

• Reside within the designated territory's geographic area.
• Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; frequent driving is required.
