This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Achieves or surpasses sales targets for the designated region through the execution of approved marketing and sales strategies.
• Identifies and addresses the business and scientific needs of healthcare professionals by engaging in meaningful discussions to uncover underlying patient requirements and assess how products can meet those needs.
• Collaborates with Medical Science Directors, Managers, Patient Access, Regional Business Directors, HUB services, and other personnel to create strategies that ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Formulates and executes a dynamic territory business plan by analyzing the market, competitive landscape, and territory to drive business growth.
• Cultivates, nurtures, and sustains professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), including physicians, medical staff, key hospital personnel, and ALS center personnel.
• Navigates the hospital formulary process and devises strategies to ensure effective product positioning and availability.
• Anticipates potential business obstacles, adjusts priorities as necessary, demonstrates adaptability, and develops solutions to overcome challenges.
• Maintains a high level of proficiency in selling skills, clinical and market knowledge, product understanding, and the business environment of the territory.
• Collaborates with colleagues and company personnel to ensure the achievement of corporate objectives and initiatives.
• Effectively organizes and plans the schedule to maximize efficiency and achieve goals and objectives.
• Serves as a company ambassador, showcasing a professional image and representing the company, its products, and its people with integrity and respect.
• Completes tasks and projects assigned by the Regional Business Director.
• Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and pharmaceutical guidelines in all activities.
• BA/BS Degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, including a minimum of 2 years in Neurology and/or CNS.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and regulations/guidelines related to pharmaceutical sales.
• Experience in launching new products.
• Highly self-motivated, dedicated to excellence, and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Proven selling skills with a successful track record, particularly in new product launches.
• Polished professional appearance paired with excellent interpersonal skills to engage others and foster strong business relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as effective presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Veeva is an advantage.
• Must be willing to travel up to 30%, including frequent overnight stays.
