This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Provide short-term coverage (minimum of 1 week) in a designated territory within the eastern or western regions of the United States.

• Consistently achieve or surpass sales targets through the implementation of approved selling strategies and solutions across the designated and rotating territories.

• Create, execute, and modify dynamic business plans for the territory based on local market conditions, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessments, focusing on current prescribers, those diagnosing ALS, and prescribers who have decreased or halted prescribing.

• Employ daily dynamic targeting to prioritize high-impact accounts and enhance customer outreach and efficiency.

• Serve as the primary contact for key accounts within each assigned vacant territory and efficiently manage calls/requests by directing them to the appropriate internal team members as necessary.

• Exhibit strong expertise in neurology, particularly in ALS, and effectively communicate scientific and clinical information in a compliant manner.

• Engage healthcare professionals in significant discussions to comprehend both clinical and business-related needs and how the products can improve patient care.

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with key customers, including neurologists, ALS center staff, medical personnel, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).

• Ensure regular and consistent appointments are arranged with key stakeholders, in accordance with the rotational schedule and/or the schedules of other team members (e.g., Regional Business Directors; Manager of Patient Access).

• Collaborate effectively with Medical Science Directors, Regional Business Directors, Patient Access teams, HUB services, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and patient access.

• Work with peers to exchange best practices and market insights, contributing to ongoing improvement throughout the organization.

• Uphold the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and operational compliance, ensuring all activities adhere to pharmaceutical regulations and company policies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

• 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with 2 years in Neurology and/or rare disease strongly preferred.

• Experience in supporting established neurology and/or CNS products is preferred.

• Strong business acumen with the capability to analyze key performance metrics, assess market opportunities/barriers, and formulate effective business plans.

• Proficiency in standard industry platforms such as Veeva, Concur, and Salesforce.

• Proficiency in Office 365, particularly Excel.

• Proven track record of leadership, collaboration, sound judgment, and advanced selling skills in cross-functional settings.

• Demonstrated selling skills with a strong history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

• Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, payer landscape, and regulatory environment.

• Capability to quickly learn and apply complex clinical and scientific information.

• Valid driver’s license and any necessary licenses for the pharmaceutical industry in required states.

• Excellent communication, presentation, Excel, PowerPoint, and writing skills are required.
