This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Collaborate with the project lead to recommend best practices, administrative plans, and strategies aimed at enhancing the efficiency and engagement of youth networks;
• Assist the Project Lead with oversight of Network Management and performance;
• Identify skill gaps and propose training opportunities and other capacity-building initiatives to address them;
• Prepare quarterly reports to ensure that activities and initiatives are accurately documented;
• Monitor and manage incoming communications to the network's email inbox;
• Conduct research on speaking engagements, voluntary opportunities, and partnerships to provide Network Coordinators with enhanced promotional platforms;
• Aid the Project Lead in updating guidelines and internal documents to ensure compliance within youth networks;
• Analyze feedback from youth networks to better understand their needs and challenges;
• Participate in the monthly call with the Youth Networks Team, quarterly call with Global Coordinators, and any other relevant discussions with team members;
• Candidates must be aged between 18-30 to qualify for this position, with a flexibility allowance up to 35 years old;
• Candidates should possess a strong command of the English language, including writing, speaking, and listening skills;
• Previous experience in student or youth leadership is required;
• Candidates must have a keen interest in youth engagement and sustainable development, and be passionate about the mission of SDSN, particularly regarding the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement on climate change;
• Applicants should demonstrate strong teamwork abilities and possess excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to manage workloads across multiple projects and teams;
• Effective communication and consistent reporting abilities must be demonstrated;
• Candidates should show that they have the time and resources to commit to this role—those with excessive overlapping commitments will not be considered for this position;
• Previous professional or volunteer experience, particularly in team management, project coordination, event management, stakeholder engagement, or operations, is necessary;
• Familiarity with various communication and management software, such as Google Suite, is preferred;
