Network Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversee, manage, and resolve issues within a data communication network.

• Track all network activities consistently.

• Activate and deactivate network connections as per established schedules.

• Conduct first- and/or second-level troubleshooting; first level includes help desk support.

• Collaborate with users and network service providers.

• Deliver technical assistance for LAN/WAN or a segment of a broader network.

• Execute network setup, adjustments, and testing procedures.

• Operate under general guidance for routine tasks and follow detailed instructions for new tasks or special projects.

• Gather or supply information and data that requires clarification or interpretation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree and 4 years of pertinent experience; OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience (2 years of experience can substitute for Associate's degree).

• Capability to secure and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship or Green Card.

• Technical proficiency and experience with cloud networking.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills, along with excellent briefing and writing abilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team setting with minimal supervision.

• Practical experience with ServiceNow, SCOM, SolarWinds, Zscaler support, and Azure Network.

• Active Network and ITIL 4 certifications.

• Experience working with a Federal or Government Agency.
