Network Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of computer networks;

• Oversee network performance and resolve incidents as they arise;

• Offer technical assistance to users and internal teams;

• Set up and manage network equipment, including switches, routers, and firewalls;

• Implement enhancements and optimizations to the existing network infrastructure;

• Assist external clients by installing and configuring networking and telephony equipment;

• Maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and technical incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a completed technical education or currently pursuing/completed higher education in Computer Networks, IT, or related fields;

• Familiarity with configuring and maintaining various types of networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN);

• Proficient in network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP;

• Experience with network hardware including routers, switches, and access points;

• Basic understanding of information security concepts (firewall, VPN);

• Previous experience in a similar role or in network support;

• Availability for on-site support as well as remote assistance;

• Experience in the installation and configuration of CCTV systems;

• Relevant certifications in the field, such as CCNA or equivalent;

• Knowledge of structured cabling and rack assembly;

• Experience in replacing or servicing UPS units and surge protectors/line filters;

• Proficiency in electrical measurements using a multimeter;

• Advanced skills in the installation of CCTV cameras.
