Network Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Convert client requirements into actionable, scalable IT service solutions.

• Collaborate with sales teams to grasp customer business objectives and challenges.

• Facilitate client discovery sessions to pinpoint business issues, technical necessities, and constraints.

• Create secure, scalable solution designs and cross-practice architectures.

• Conduct technical assessments of client environments to verify solution compatibility.

• Present solution architectures that align with technical specifications and business goals.

• Work together with clients and internal teams to clarify scope, objectives, and deliverables.

• Act as a subject matter expert in cloud services, cybersecurity, data center infrastructure, networking, and endpoints.

• Construct cost models and level-of-effort estimates, including licensing, partner solutions, and delivery requirements.

• Estimate resources, costs, and timelines for proposed solutions.

• Prepare and present technical pitches, proposals, and Statements of Work.

• Assist with RFP responses through solution design, technical responses, and alignment of delivery resources.

• Document solution architectures and ensure uniformity across proposals and implementations.

• Aid account executives in technical presentations and demonstrations.

• Collaborate with delivery teams to confirm scope, resource needs, and feasibility.

• Execute internal handoffs to delivery teams and clarify assumptions.

• Contribute reusable assets and solution blueprints for presales purposes.

• Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

• Provide mentorship and training to junior presales and solutions team members.

• Engage in reviews, debriefings, and retrospectives to enhance presales processes and solution delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid background in enterprise IT architecture encompassing cloud, networking, storage, virtualization, cybersecurity, unified communications, and data management.

• Expertise in designing multi-practice solutions across various technology domains.

• Familiarity with cost modeling, licensing, and planning for delivery resources.

• Comprehensive understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.

• Profound knowledge of enterprise networking and security technologies.

• Awareness of GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, and other regulatory/compliance frameworks.

• Experience in designing multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.

• Knowledge of automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

• Experience in crafting solution architectures for sectors like financial services, healthcare, and retail.

• Strong client-facing presentation and communication abilities.

• Capability to align technical solutions with business challenges and value drivers.

• Proven experience in supporting presales engagements and proposal development.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative solution-design capabilities.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities concurrently.

• Experience with pipeline management and CRM software.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Relevant industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, Cisco CCIE, VMware VCP, or TOGAF.

• 5–7+ years of experience in IT solution design, architecture, or technical presales roles.

• Previous experience with MSP or systems integrators is highly preferred.

• ITIL or other service-management certification is advantageous.
