This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Establish and document the target-state architecture for the Network Services sector, encompassing SIP trunk consolidation, SBC configuration templates, and dial-plan normalization.
• Detect and resolve DNS conflicts and IPAM-related challenges within various legacy network environments.
• Create standardized configuration templates and architectural guidelines for Voice and SIP services to facilitate large-scale automated deployments.
• Design routing frameworks for emergency and authenticated communications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while coordinating with client legal teams for approvals (e.g., e911, STIR/SHAKEN).
• Set clear exit criteria and Definition of Done (DoD) for voice migrations, allowing for consistent and safe execution by offshore delivery teams.
• Engage in architecture governance, including participation in architecture reviews, design approvals, and the development of enterprise standards and reference architectures.
• Work collaboratively with cross-domain architects (security, application, platform) on integrated design choices.
• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise network architecture with a strong focus on Voice over IP (VoIP), SIP trunking, and Session Border Controllers (SBCs).
• Extensive expertise in resolving DNS and IP addressing conflicts (IPAM) within large-scale network consolidation or M&A scenarios.
• Demonstrated experience in designing dial-plan normalization across multi-vendor ecosystems (e.g., Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft Teams).
• Comprehensive understanding of US telecommunications standards and regulatory considerations; emphasis on architecture rather than carrier management or LNP execution.
• Capability to convert complex voice configurations into standardized, reusable Low-Level Design (LLD) templates appropriate for automated, factory-style deployment.
• Proficiency in English at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) to C1 (Advanced) level, with strong verbal communication skills.
