Network Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee enterprise network security measures.

• Set up and manage Fortinet, SonicWall, and Palo Alto firewall systems.

• Establish and uphold VPNs, IPS/IDS, web filtering, NAT, ACLs, and segmentation protocols.

• Monitor security incidents utilizing SIEM, XDR, and SOC monitoring tools.

• Analyze security breaches, conduct threat assessments, and assist in incident response efforts.

• Oversee firewall configurations, security policies, and compliance regulations.

• Deploy Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and identity-centric security measures.

• Assist with cloud security projects across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.

• Execute vulnerability assessments and remediation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of next-generation firewalls, SIEM systems, cloud security, Zero Trust frameworks, and contemporary cybersecurity practices.

• Practical experience with tools such as Fortinet, SonicWall, Palo Alto Networks, SIEM technologies, SASE, SD-WAN, endpoint security, and threat detection solutions.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Desired Certifications: Fortinet NSE / FCP, Palo Alto PCNSA / PCNSE, CCNP Security, CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC Certifications, AWS Security Specialty.
