This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Define and document the target-state observability architecture for "Greenfield," which includes technical configuration templates, dashboard structures, and telemetry polling logic for the client's unified monitoring platform.
• Architect alert thresholds, suppression rules, and dependency mapping to reduce false positives and mitigate alert fatigue within the NOC.
• Design provisioning templates and API integrations to guarantee that all sites leaving the migration factory are automatically integrated into the target monitoring platform without any manual input.
• Collaborate with the ITSM/ITIL Architect during the design phase to create automated alert-to-ticket routing logic, and work alongside the Service Delivery Manager during implementation to ensure that NOC runbooks are in sync with the new telemetry model.
• Participate in architecture governance by engaging in architecture reviews, design approvals, and the development of enterprise architecture standards, principles, and reference models.
• Work together with cross-domain architects (security, application, platform) to make integrated design decisions.
• Over 10 years of experience in Network Operations, Observability Architecture, or NMS Engineering within large-scale enterprise or service provider settings.
• Practical experience in delivering scalable monitoring templates and frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in modern unified observability platforms such as LogicMonitor, Datadog, SolarWinds, or Splunk, including network telemetry mapping.
• Advanced understanding of alert correlation, SNMPv3, NetFlow, and API-based data extraction.
• Demonstrated ability to design effective alert suppression logic that shields Tier 1 NOC teams from redundant or cascading alerts during complex network incidents.
