This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Define and document the target-state observability architecture for "Greenfield," encompassing technical configuration templates, dashboard frameworks, and telemetry polling logic for the unified monitoring platform chosen by the client.
• Design alert thresholds, suppression rules, and dependency mapping to reduce false positives and avert alert fatigue in the NOC.
• Create provisioning templates and API integrations to guarantee that all sites transitioning from the migration factory are seamlessly onboarded into the target monitoring platform without the need for manual intervention.
• Work alongside the ITSM/ITIL Architect during the design phase to establish automated alert-to-ticket routing logic, and collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager during implementation to ensure that NOC runbooks are consistent with the new telemetry model.
• Participate in architecture governance, including involvement in architecture reviews, design approvals, and the development of enterprise architecture standards, principles, and reference models.
• Collaborate with architects across various domains (security, application, platform) on integrated design decisions.
• Over 10 years of experience in Network Operations, Observability Architecture, or NMS Engineering within large-scale enterprise or service provider settings.
• Practical experience in delivering scalable monitoring templates and frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in contemporary unified observability platforms such as LogicMonitor, Datadog, SolarWinds, or Splunk, including network telemetry mapping.
• Advanced understanding of alert correlation, SNMPv3, NetFlow, and API-based data extraction.
• Demonstrated capability to design efficient alert suppression logic that shields Tier 1 NOC teams from repetitive or cascading alerts during intricate network events.
