Network Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a geographically diverse team of network engineers across various regions.

• Supervise the daily operations of Quest's global network infrastructure that supports data centers, cloud environments, and office locations around the world.

• Guide the design and execution of enterprise networking solutions using Cisco routing and switching technologies.

• Oversee the management of perimeter and internal network security infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls.

• Provide support and direction for cloud networking initiatives within Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.

• Foster relationships with network service providers, telecommunications carriers, and hardware vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in people management, specifically leading network engineering and operations teams.

• More than 10 years of progressive experience in supporting enterprise network infrastructure.

• Proven experience managing geographically dispersed technical teams.

• Experience in supporting global enterprise environments with multiple office and data center locations.

• Advanced expertise in Cisco Routing and Switching, Cisco Catalyst Platforms, Cisco Nexus Platforms, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, and QoS.

• Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls, Network Security Architecture, VPN Technologies, Network Segmentation, and Secure Remote Access Solutions.

• Strong experience in Wide Area Networks (WAN), SD-WAN, Internet Service Providers, and Global Connectivity Solutions.

• Experience in designing and supporting Microsoft Azure Networking, AWS Networking, Hybrid Cloud Connectivity, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and VPN Connectivity.

• Experience in supporting Enterprise Data Center Infrastructure, High Availability Architectures, Disaster Recovery Connectivity, and Data Center Migration Projects.
