This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create comprehensive network implementation strategies, deployment protocols, testing plans, and validation matrices.
• Analyze, verify, and convert client business and technical requirements into practical implementation strategies.
• Configure, deploy, integrate, test, and resolve issues with intricate network solutions within client settings.
• Evaluate current network environments and architectures to pinpoint implementation needs, dependencies, risks, and potential challenges.
• Offer technical advice and address implementation obstacles alongside clients and internal technical teams.
• Deliver implementation strategies, technical solutions, recommendations, and project updates to clients in both in-person and virtual meetings.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Sales, Presales, and technical teams to ensure successful client deployments.
• Provide both technical and project-status updates while communicating implementation risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including configurations, implementation logs, test outcomes, and as-built documentation.
• Assist in client knowledge transfer and the transition of implemented solutions into the client's operational environment.
• Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Over 5 years of practical networking experience in supporting complex, large-enterprise environments.
• More than 5 years of experience in configuring and supporting enterprise network hardware and technologies, including routers, switches, VPN, and IPsec.
• At least 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting enterprise network deployments.
• Advanced understanding of TCP/IP and enterprise networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, secure WAN, and VXLAN technologies.
• Proven ability to configure, deploy, test, troubleshoot, and validate complex network solutions.
• Capability to assess existing network architectures and environments, providing technically sound recommendations.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities to identify and resolve intricate network issues.
• Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
• Proficient in conveying complex technical concepts effectively and adjusting technical information to fit the audience's knowledge level and requirements.
• Capacity to work cooperatively with clients, project managers, engineers, architects, Sales, and Presales resources.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple implementation activities, priorities, and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as needed based on client and project requirements.
• Ability to sit at a computer for up to 8 hours a day.
• Keyboard for up to 8 hours a day.
• Near Vision capabilities for working with small items or reading small print.
• Speaking skills for effectively communicating information to clients and coworkers.
• Hearing requirements for in-person speech, telephone communication, and other sounds.
• Some travel may be necessary.
• Additional physical requirements related to onsite network equipment installation or data-center work may apply based on project responsibilities.
