Network Engineer – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure that supports O-I's manufacturing and office environments globally.

• Oversee LAN, wireless, voice, SD-WAN, and SASE solutions.

• Participate in global technology upgrade initiatives.

• Collaborate with teams across various regions.

• Diagnose network issues to ensure prompt resolution and operational continuity.

• Monitor network performance and availability across all O-I locations.

• Maintain precise and thorough documentation in line with Global Standards.

• Lead projects related to network infrastructure, including technology refreshes and lifecycle management initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a similar field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 3 years of experience managing enterprise LAN, firewall, voice, and/or wireless network infrastructure.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities and the capacity to work independently within a global organization.

• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

• Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining wireless network infrastructure in industrial or office settings, along with troubleshooting existing wireless systems, will be a significant advantage.
