Network Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Set up and install a variety of network devices and services (including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and QoS).

• Conduct network maintenance and system upgrades, which encompass service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.

• Oversee system resource usage, trends, and capacity planning.

• Operate within established configuration and change management protocols to guarantee awareness, approval, and successful implementation of changes to the network infrastructure.

• Collaborate with vendors and other IT staff for effective problem resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a network engineer in the DoW environment.

• Experience Substitution: One academic year at an accredited college or university in a preferred degree related post-secondary program can substitute for one year of experience.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• **Personnel Clearance Level:**

• Candidates must possess or have the capacity to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.

• *Sponsorship for clearance will not be provided.*

• **Education Requirements:**

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related field of study.

• *7+ years of experience may be used as a substitute for the degree requirement.*
