Network Engineer – Data Center & Cloud, CCIE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Execute technical tasks as a mid-to-senior level team member.

• Assume responsibility for your segment within larger projects while adhering to BlueAlly’s quality standards.

• Guide specific workstreams in data center and cloud networking projects based on your expertise.

• Create clear and precise technical documentation and share findings or recommendations with client stakeholders.

• Identify project-impacting issues that require escalation and take appropriate action.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 8 years of practical experience in enterprise networking, with a strong focus on data center and cloud network environments.

• A valid CCIE certification is mandatory; CCIE Data Center track is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge in data center networking, including VXLAN, EVPN, and multi-site data center design and operations.

• Practical experience with AWS cloud connectivity solutions such as Direct Connect, VPC networking, Transit Gateway, VPC peering, VPN gateways, and similar constructs.

• Familiarity with Cisco Nexus platforms and NX-OS; experience with Cisco ACI or other SDN/overlay technologies is an advantage.

• Ability to work independently between key direction-setting points.

• Proficient in producing high-quality technical documents.

• A solid understanding of project financials and forecasting processes.
