This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• Management, development, and fortification of our network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, uplinks)

• Design and execution of intricate network architectures for highly reliable setups (e.g., distributed locations and availability zones, EVPN)

• Integration of cloud connections and advancement of hybrid infrastructures

• Automation and standardization (Infrastructure as Code using Ansible and Terraform)

• Management of security and firewall solutions (including FortiGate)

• Investigation and resolution of incidents along with ongoing optimization

• Strong knowledge of networking and hands-on experience in network design and operations (preferably across OSI layers, routing & switching)

• Familiarity with at least one of the following vendors: Juniper (JunOS), Dell (DNOS), Cisco, Fortinet, or similar

• Solid understanding of dynamic routing: BGP (ideally full-table routing), OSPF

• Experience with firewalls and VPN solutions

• Confident in customer-facing interactions and experienced in coordinating with service providers

• Background in procurement and purchasing of network hardware

• Experience with network services and associated systems (e.g., Linux-based services, infrastructure components)

• Expertise or keen interest in automation (Ansible, Terraform), Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and cloud network integrations

• Structured, solution-focused, and quality-driven work methodology

• Iterative and project-oriented approach to task implementation and rollouts
