Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Assist in the expansion of colocation offices worldwide, while also implementing and maintaining both local and wide area networks for Danaher or its subsidiaries.

• Ensure the accuracy of network documentation.

• Investigate and propose enhancements to the production network.

• Serve as tier 3 escalation for resolving intricate network issues and take part in tier 3 'on call' rotations alongside other network team members.

• Regularly collaborate with other members of the global network team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience of over 6 years.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Familiarity with routing protocols and topologies (BGP, OSPF, VRF) and VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE, DMVPN, DTLS).

• Significant experience with Cisco wireless solutions, Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, Cisco IOS and IOS-XE routers.

• Knowledge of firewalls (ASA, Palo, Zscaler) as well as experience with authentication protocols and implementations (ISE, TACACS, RADIUS, 802.1x).

• This role may necessitate up to 15% travel, including occasional international trips.
