Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Provide support and maintenance for the company's network infrastructure across both cloud and on-premises environments.

• Monitor network performance and address incidents and service requests in a timely manner.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to network connectivity, firewalls, VPNs, LAN, Wi-Fi, and physical layers.

• Configure and uphold firewalls, switches, wireless networks, VPNs, and WAN connectivity.

• Facilitate site-to-site VPN connections with cloud providers, third-party partners, and remote offices.

• Assist in SD-WAN and WAN connectivity management across various locations.

• Participate in network projects, office deployments, migrations, and infrastructure enhancements.

• Install, replace, and maintain network hardware such as firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and related devices.

• Investigate and address physical network connectivity challenges, including cabling, patching, and hardware faults.

• Aid in new office and site deployments, encompassing hardware installation, patching, testing, and handover processes.

• Create and sustain network documentation, diagrams, and operational notes.

• Collaborate with third-party suppliers, ISPs, and internal teams to implement changes and resolve incidents.

• Adhere to change management and implementation protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Cisco CCNA certification is required.

• Preferable: Cisco CCNP certification.

• Microsoft Azure Network Engineer certification is a must.

• Certifications in Check Point, SonicWall, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or other firewall technologies are desirable.

• Zscaler-related certifications are a plus.

• Other pertinent networking, security, or cloud networking certifications will be considered.

• Strong foundation in networking principles.

• Effective troubleshooting abilities.

• A hands-on approach to network operations is essential.

• Comfortable working within a multi-vendor ecosystem.

• Eagerness to learn and engage with various technologies.

• Strong communication skills are necessary.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Organized and capable of managing daily tasks effectively.

• A practical mindset towards problem-solving is required.

• Ability to remain composed and systematically address incidents.
