Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Responsible for overseeing network operations and maintaining all systems to ensure adherence to CWIE/CCBill/phoenixNAP guidelines and industry best practices.

• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues to reduce downtime.

• Serve as the final support tier, offering assistance to fellow employees and the NOC team.

• Employ network management systems to monitor, diagnose, control, and assess network performance, ensuring proactive resolution of issues and optimization.

• Commit to continuous improvement to guarantee that the network infrastructure achieves optimal performance, security, and availability.

• Create and sustain thorough network documentation, including configurations, interconnections, processes, and service records, to ensure precise tracking of maintenance and system modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or CCNP Certification.

• Over 4 years of experience in Enterprise Networks.

• Familiarity with WAN enterprise hardware and a solid understanding of Global Networks and Peering.

• Experience with the system lifecycle management, including software and hardware upgrades from remote sites.

• In-depth knowledge of IPv6 and its migration strategies.

• Comprehensive understanding of Routing Protocols, Switching, Security, and VPN.

• Extensive experience with DDoS Protection systems.

• Practical knowledge of VMWare NSX components.

• Strong business acumen with demonstrated knowledge of the IT industry.

• Capable of communicating effectively with and understanding the needs of non-technical internal and external clients.

• Proficient in English.
