This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Oversee the upstream data team to extract, normalize, and validate legacy network configurations from acquired organizations, identifying IP conflicts and hardware limitations.
• Evaluate intricate, custom-built legacy networks and align them with our standardized target-state architectural frameworks.
• Conduct focused interviews with client Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ascertain whether complex routing or firewall configurations are influenced by stringent regulatory requirements (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2) or historical design decisions.
• Compose and update the Master Requirements Document, establishing the technical scope and delivery baseline for the migration execution teams.
• Integrate fragmented discoveries into centralized executive dashboards, offering the PMO and client leadership a unified view of technical debt and migration preparedness.
• 7+ years of experience as an Enterprise Network Architect, Solutions Architect, or Technical Lead in complex telecommunications, ISP, or M&A network settings.
• A deep understanding of enterprise networking concepts (BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, Firewalls, SIP) is essential to challenge local engineers and convert technical debt into business risks. (Active or expired CCNP certification is a significant advantage).
• Demonstrated capability to interview technical SMEs, gather business requirements, and translate them into formal architectural blueprints utilizing Visio or Lucidchart.
• Experience in overseeing technical intake pipelines and managing dependencies with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
