Network and Data Communications Analyst – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Operate, manage, and maintain connectivity and data communication environments, ensuring their availability, performance, and security;

• Address incidents, problems, requests, and changes related to network infrastructure;

• Conduct configurations, modifications, and optimizations on network devices and services;

• Execute network asset administration tasks, including analysis, support, and configuration of equipment and protocols;

• Configure and monitor switches (both core and access), routers, and other network assets;

• Oversee LAN, WAN, and wireless environments, which include access points and controllers;

• Implement and manage both dynamic and static routing, along with their respective protocols;

• Monitor circuits and perform preventive maintenance on network infrastructure;

• Collaborate with vendors and carriers for support and incident resolution;

• Establish standards, parameters, and best practices for the configuration of network infrastructure;

• Diagnose and resolve connectivity and network performance issues;

• Engage in infrastructure projects, contributing technical specifications and the development of the environment;

• Create and maintain current technical documentation;

• Produce technical materials and promote best practices across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field

• Professional Experience: Experience in the relevant specialty and as a Wireless Network Administrator

• Certifications/Training: ITIL 4 Foundation training of at least 12 (twelve) hours

• Official ITIL 4 Foundation certification or a higher-level certification

• SD-WAN Architect course completion

• Official Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP Enterprise) certification or a higher-level certification, or an equivalent certification from other vendors demonstrating equivalent expertise in routing, switching, enterprise networks, and network security technologies

• Cisco Certified Network Professional Data Center (CCNP Data Center) certification or a higher-level certification, or an equivalent certification from other vendors demonstrating equivalent expertise in data center network infrastructure technologies, including high-density switching, fabric networks, Ethernet meshes, VXLAN-based networks, network segmentation, software-defined networking (SDN) for data centers, network automation, security policies, network virtualization, and hybrid environment integration (on-premises and cloud).
