This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and related infrastructures.
• Install and configure networking equipment (such as Palo Alto, Cisco, BIG-IP, and Arista) including firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Address escalations arising from daily operations, including routine services and change requests, incident investigations, remediation, troubleshooting, and monitoring of network services, as well as local and wide area network connections and Datacenter.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to support critical 24/7 production systems.
• Engage in projects involving the design, implementation, installation, and configuration of Network Infrastructure systems.
• Continuously assess network performance to ensure stability and promptly address any issues.
• Conduct regular security audits of the network and ensure adherence to security policies.
• Plan and implement hardware and software upgrades and patches as needed to sustain optimal network operation.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and hardware inventories.
• Record troubleshooting processes and modifications made to the network.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams, vendors, and other departments to ensure the network aligns with organizational requirements.
• Perform regular analyses of network traffic and performance metrics.
• Identify potential performance bottlenecks, optimize network efficiency, and suggest enhancements.
• Proficient in English.
• Demonstrated experience in managing LAN, WAN, and Datacenter network environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience in configuring and supporting network hardware such as F5 BigIP, Cisco (including Cisco ACI and Cisco Nexus), and Palo Alto.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Experience in handling escalations related to daily operations, including incident investigations, troubleshooting, remediation, and change requests (BAU).
• Proven ability to monitor network services and performance to ensure stability and high availability.
• Availability for rotational on-call support (24/7) for essential production systems.
• Experience in participating in network projects, covering design, implementation, installation, and configuration.
• Familiarity with network security best practices, security audits, and compliance with security policies.
• Experience in planning and executing hardware and software upgrades and patching for networks.
• Capability to maintain accurate and current network documentation, including configurations, procedures, inventories, and changes.
• Strong analytical skills to assess network traffic and performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with IT teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
