This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Planning, managing, and continuously enhancing redundant network infrastructures (Office, Data Center, WLAN).
• Administration of Check Point firewalls (ClusterXL; preferably Maestro) and routing/switching frameworks (Cisco, Juniper), including configurations for high availability.
• Oversight and upkeep of WLAN systems (including FlexConnect).
• Management of SAN switches (Dell Connectrix) and VPN gateways (Site-to-Site).
• Proactive troubleshooting at the second and third support tiers, along with involvement in incident management.
• Autonomous resolution of technical challenges, with a strong emphasis on delivering conclusive solutions.
• Accountability for the entire network lifecycle (from assessment to End-of-Life).
• Systematic documentation and routine reporting.
• Successfully completed IT apprenticeship or a university degree.
• Several years of professional experience in network administration in enterprise or critical infrastructure (KRITIS) settings.
• Strong expertise in routing & switching (Cisco, Juniper), WLAN, VPN, and firewall technologies.
• Experience with Check Point firewalls (certification preferred) and a solid understanding of high-availability and security-sensitive networks.
• Proficient in the lifecycle management of network infrastructures.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation (approximately 1 week per month).
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Good command of spoken and written German (desirable).
• Knowledge of Linux-oriented environments (desirable).
