Network Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and respond to security alerts and escalations to ensure prompt identification and mitigation of potential threats.

• Perform routine vulnerability scanning and remediation utilizing Tenable.io to identify and assist in mitigating risks within current systems.

• Aid in the security patching and updates for Windows, macOS, and Linux using Microsoft Intune and Quest KACE SMA.

• Contribute to maintaining a robust Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) framework by auditing AWS and Azure environments against CIS Benchmarks and internal security protocols.

• Monitor and manage the Microsoft Defender suite to identify and investigate threats across endpoints, identities, and cloud workloads.

• Create and sustain automated security playbooks and workflows to enhance incident response and minimize repetitive manual tasks.

• Conduct periodic phishing simulations to assess employee awareness and help pinpoint higher-risk user groups.

• Assist with internal and external audits by providing technical evidence and ensuring alignment with relevant standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in monitoring, triaging, and responding to security alerts and escalations.

• Proficient in producing incident reports, including root cause analysis and actionable post-incident recommendations.

• Comfortable handling audit and assurance requests (gathering evidence, explaining controls, and supporting remediation efforts).

• Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes (including Tenable.io scanning, prioritization, and remediation tracking).

• Knowledge of endpoint management and patch orchestration across Windows, macOS, and Linux (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Quest KACE SMA).

• Expertise in threat detection and investigation using the Microsoft Defender suite across endpoints, identities, and cloud workloads.

• Understanding of cloud security fundamentals and posture management across AWS and Azure, including auditing against CIS Benchmarks.
