Network Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the planning, design, and execution of enterprise networks, encompassing LAN, WAN, and WLAN (Wi‑Fi).

• Setup and management of network devices, including routers, switches, and access points.

• Overseeing and enhancing network performance while diagnosing and resolving network-related issues.

• Collaborating with both internal teams and external service providers.

• Developing and maintaining network documentation and technical reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.

• Significant experience in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise networks.

• In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, such as routing, switching, VLANs, and subnetting.

• Proficiency in configuring and managing network hardware from suppliers like Cisco, Juniper, or HPE.

• Understanding of network protocols and standards, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN trunking.

• Familiarity with network security principles and experience with firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

• Strong grasp of Wi-Fi technology with experience in configuring WLAN controllers.

• Analytical thinking skills with the capability to identify and address complex network challenges.

• A collaborative team member with excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
