This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The JIRA Administrator is tasked with the configuration, upkeep, and management of the organization’s Atlassian suite, which includes JIRA Service Management, Confluence, and related marketplace applications.
• This position acts as the main administrator for third-party software systems across various departments, ensuring the precision of workflows, the integrity of documentation, and the reliability of systems.
• The role carries direct JIRA administration responsibilities and is essential for the organization’s daily operational continuity across IT, HR, ASD, Transportation, Facilities, and other developing departments.
• Configure and oversee JIRA Service Management projects, workflows, dynamic forms, and automation rules.
• Manage the installation, licensing, and updates of marketplace applications.
• Administer user access controls, permissions, and project configurations at the department level.
• Maintain the Confluence knowledge base and internal documentation.
• Provide support to departments including IT, HR, Avatar, Transportation, Facilities, and any other developing departments.
• Oversee user access, configurations, and audit processes for designated third-party applications.
• Maintain documentation for changes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and patch notes across managed systems.
• Support system integrations and escalate vendor-related issues as necessary.
• Act as the first point of contact for JIRA-related requests and issues regarding workflow configuration.
• Participate in the onboarding and offboarding process for new hires to ensure accurate system access.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at process improvement and internal documentation.
• Send ticket notifications in accordance with team protocols, consistently and punctually.
• Proven hands-on experience with JIRA / Atlassian (focusing on configuration, rather than solely end-user interaction).
• Strong administrative and organizational capabilities.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage intricate, logic-driven workflows.
• Solution-oriented mindset; able to independently learn unfamiliar systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Atlassian Certified Professional credential.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Background in Confluence administration.
• Experience within healthcare, nonprofit, or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with change management and SOP documentation processes.
