.Net Software Architect, Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead the engineering team by steering the technical vision, architecture, and execution of intricate software solutions.

• Establish and refine the technical direction for back-end services utilizing C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.

• Supervise the implementation and standardization of both SOAP and REST APIs.

• Ensure system reliability and scalability through rigorous testing, monitoring, and root-cause analysis.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and cultivate a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning.

• Manage the integration of legacy and contemporary systems to maintain high performance.

• Propel the optimization of CI/CD workflows and automated pipelines.

• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to convert business needs into technical roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Language: Advanced/Fluent proficiency in English.

• Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Principal Engineer in a production setting.

• Expert .NET Ecosystem: Extensive, hands-on experience with both .NET Framework and .NET Core.

• Data Layer Mastery: Strong grasp of ADO.NET and SQL Server, with a notable history in database design, optimization, and performance tuning at scale.

• Integration Expertise: Significant experience in designing and maintaining SOAP and RESTful web services, including expertise in XML serialization/deserialization.

• Architectural Acumen: Proficiency in software design patterns, clean architecture, and contemporary distributed system design.

• Communication: Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
