Negotiations & Communications Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with opposing counsel, clients, and authorized representatives.

• Access and respond to emails and phone communications regarding file negotiations and account resolutions.

• Address negotiations and pleadings as necessary.

• Manage both telephone and written communication with opposing counsel and clients.

• Accurately record information in the firm's system of record.

• Maintain case files and ensure adherence to court deadlines and procedural requirements.

• Utilize firm technology platforms for case tracking, document organization, and workflow management.

• Keep precise litigation records.

• Employ case management and document management software effectively.

• Prepare and send legal correspondence to assigned attorneys and firm staff.

• Acquire knowledge of state litigation processes, internal controls, and the policies and procedures of both clients and the firm.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctorate and admission to any state bar.

• Licenses in states where the firm operates are advantageous: Arizona, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, or Wisconsin.

• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated sound judgment, discretion, and initiative when dealing with legal correspondence and time-sensitive tasks.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Understanding of company and client policies and procedures to ensure proper documentation of files.

• Experience in Collections Law is a plus.

• No courtroom experience is required.
