This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct dynamic virtual and in-person training sessions for staff throughout the organization.
• Develop and execute thorough onboarding programs, encompassing learning paths, orientation sessions, new hire communications, and 90-day development plans.
• Lead training sessions covering leasing, interviewing techniques, customer service, leadership development, budgeting, financials, policies, procedures, and various operational subjects.
• Collaborate with business leaders and subject matter experts to create learning solutions that align with the organization's objectives.
• Produce step-by-step guides, videos, tutorials, learning modules, and other educational materials that enhance knowledge retention and promote employee self-service.
• Oversee employee learning activities within the Learning Management System (LMS), which includes enrollment, reporting, and tracking participation.
• Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, participant feedback, performance metrics, and system utilization reports, striving for continuous improvement in learning programs.
• Identify skill gaps and propose targeted coaching, development plans, and leadership programs to facilitate employee growth.
• Support leadership development initiatives and emerging talent programs.
• Organize and maintain the company-wide learning calendar, ensuring that training opportunities are structured and accessible.
• Address employee training inquiries through the Learning & Development ticketing system.
• Coordinate training for new community lease-ups and acquisitions to ensure successful operational launches.
• Keep updated on company policies, software, industry trends, and learning best practices to maintain the accuracy and effectiveness of training content.
• Assist in planning and facilitating company conferences, leadership meetings, and special learning initiatives.
• Provide support for additional Learning & Development projects and organizational initiatives as required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Development, Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Learning & Development.
• 1–2 years of experience in affordable housing, multifamily, or compliance preferred.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering both virtual and in-person training programs.
• Background in creating learning content, onboarding programs, job aids, tutorials, and learning pathways.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS); experience with video or audio editing software is a plus.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Experience with Canva, instructional design software, and Yardi Aspire is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as TCS, COS, DISC, Hogan, Myers-Briggs, StrengthsFinder, or Executive/Professional Coaching are preferred (or a willingness to acquire them).
• Willingness to travel frequently, including occasional short-notice travel.
