National Strategic Accounts Senior Manager

📋 Description

• Exhibit expertise, accessibility, and the capability to engage all key stakeholders within assigned community-based network accounts to enhance sales. (Oncologists/Hematologists, Hematology Pathologists, Practice Leaders, Advanced Practice Providers, Lab personnel, and Supportive Personnel)

• Collaborate cross-functionally with both external and internal stakeholders to implement pull-through business strategies while acting as the customer-facing leader for designated community-based network accounts.

• Formulate, execute, and spearhead business strategies to promote utilization and adoption within assigned strategic community-based network accounts in the specified region.

• Facilitate test access for clinicians by developing and implementing methods that streamline ordering through protocols, pathways, standing orders, order forms, EMR integration, and advancing value-added projects that benefit both practices and patients.

• Identify and cultivate KOL advocates to sway opinions on testing within the account, region, network, and nationally.

• Track product utilization, penetration, and other key performance indicators within assigned accounts.

• Efficiently create a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline and manage the essential levels of sales leads, prospects, and opportunities.

• Deliver persuasive sales presentations: secure initial business, conduct follow-ups, and identify repeat business opportunities while building a referral network.

• Engage in/facilitate account agreements, educational programs, training, and customer support initiatives in collaboration with Adaptive's internal partners. (DHS, Account Managers, Clinical Services, Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, etc.)

• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of customers and prospects, encompassing the overall market, customer needs, personnel and responsibilities, budgeting, understanding their funding processes, and the competitive landscape.

• Initiate and lead initiatives to propel Adaptive's business objectives and sales with State Societies, Regional Associations, and other regional strategic partners. (E.g., FLASCO, TxSCO, TOPS, etc.)

• Attend relevant national/regional/local educational meetings and conferences, maximizing opportunities at these events to enhance and expand Adaptive's business and reputation.

• Self-motivated and results-driven; act as a change agent and make decisions in a dynamic environment facing internal and external challenges.

• Possess excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation); capable of presenting ideas and evidence-based scientific and economic data to customers in a manner that fosters understanding and impact.

• Adhere to all Federal and State laws, regulations, and policies governing Adaptive's activities.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in Life Sciences or a related field + 12 years of relevant experience (oncology/hematology, biotech, life science, or diagnostic sales and/or oncology lab service experience preferred) or a Master's degree in Life Sciences or related field + 10 years of relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in account management within the oncology/hematology marketplace.

• Additional broad-based oncology/hematology experience is valued: sales operations, sales training, marketing, and sales management.

• Prior experience launching new oncology/hematology products or indications within community-based network accounts is preferred.

• Proven ability to synthesize insights from diverse sources and develop strategic business plans leading to decisions, actions, and sales outcomes.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; capacity to align and operate within a matrix team environment; ability to collaborate and influence in a manner that drives business results.

• Outstanding business acumen and understanding of the community-based network landscape.

• Clinical knowledge and expertise in selling within the clinical oncology/hematology marketplace.

• Capacity to build relationships with high-level Executive and Management personnel.
