This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead and provide support to regional directors and sales managers.
• Foster a performance-oriented culture emphasizing accountability and partner service.
• Establish sales targets and ensure their fulfillment.
• Conduct regular evaluations of performance and implement action plans when necessary.
• Engage in recruiting, training, and talent development initiatives.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with car dealerships and dealer groups.
• Identify new growth prospects in both existing and emerging markets.
• Take part in negotiating strategic agreements with key partners.
• Represent Iceberg Finance at events within the automotive and financial industries.
• Ensure the attainment of financing volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Analyze territory performance and recommend strategies for improvement.
• Implement initiatives aimed at enhancing market penetration and team productivity.
• Manage the business pipeline effectively.
• Collaborate closely with teams in Credit, Operations, Customer Service, and Marketing.
• Align business goals with the company's risk criteria.
• Promote a seamless experience for dealer partners and customers.
• Participate in strategic leadership meetings and contribute to the direction of the business.
• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Generate sales forecasts and performance reports.
• Assess market trends, competition, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Utilize data to support decision-making and promote continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, finance, or a related field.
• At least 8 to 10 years of experience in sales management.
• Bilingual proficiency (both written and spoken).
• Considerable experience in automotive finance, financial services, or the automotive sector.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 4 days per week.
• Proven experience managing multi-site or national sales teams.
• A strong network of contacts within the automotive industry (a significant asset).
• Ability to inspire and engage teams effectively.
