This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop the hiring profile for Sales Associates and engage in the candidate selection process.
• Standardize the onboarding process nationwide and ensure foundational readiness before associates begin working independently in the field.
• Manage associate field assignments, establish coaching schedules, create competency rubrics, formulate individual development plans, and conduct quarterly readiness evaluations.
• Facilitate the progression of associates from observation to assistance and ultimately to independently executing approved tasks.
• Distribute associates fairly across regions and priorities by utilizing a transparent, weighted scoring system.
• Address conflicting regional requests.
• Establish individual and program-wide goals while coaching associates on their performance.
• Document performance challenges, celebrate achievements, and oversee formal performance management procedures.
• Manage quarterly milestone scoring for the associate incentive program and present payout recommendations via the approved compensation framework.
• Maintain calibration with Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) and Executive Area Managers (EAMs) to ensure effective field support and clear reporting structures.
• Keep a visible talent slate and monitor anticipated EAM openings to guide promotion timing and deployment choices.
• Report on associate productivity, contribution to opportunities, evaluation support, readiness advancement, retention, time-to-promotion, and performance following promotions.
• Gather readiness documentation and trends in 90-day performance for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) and structured interview assessments.
• Integrate RSD field feedback into evaluations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Preferred 3–4 years of experience in medical devices, biotechnology, and tissue biologics within the healthcare sector.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales leadership, field sales management, sales training/enablement, or talent development, ideally in healthcare, medical devices, or a comparable industry.
• Experience with skin substitutes is preferred.
• Previous experience in startups and medium-sized companies is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong preference for prior experience in operating rooms, Value Analysis, wound care, and startup settings.
• Strong preference for previous experience in skin substitutes.
