National Residential Escrow Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Facilitate real estate escrow transactions by identifying necessary requirements.

• Serve as a neutral intermediary among involved parties, ensuring compliance with company policy and managing risk to the organization.

• Ensure that all funds are accurately tracked and disbursed in accordance with contractual terms and company policy.

• Generate regular updates on the status of the escrow account and share these reports with all transaction parties.

• Review property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documents.

• Draft legal documents necessary for the completion of the sale.

• Finalize the closing process by recording and filing documents, as well as preparing and distributing final closing statements and title.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in escrow-related roles.

• Proven experience in managing escrow transactions directly.

• Willingness to embrace new technologies and proprietary software; adapts quickly to changing workflows.

• Strong commitment to customer service while upholding a professional and positive demeanor.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effective with both internal teams and external clients; adept at using various communication methods to fulfill customer needs.

• A proactive problem solver with excellent organizational abilities, detail-oriented, and capable of leveraging internal and external resources to address challenges.

• Enjoys collaborating with a team to exceed customer expectations.

• Comfortable mentoring and supporting future talent in learning the business.

• Proficient in MS Office suite and quick to adapt to new software and technologies.

• Valid licensing/certification as required by relevant state regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
