National Key Account Manager – Pharmacy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders in pharmacy banner groups and major chain accounts.

• Develop and execute strategic account plans aimed at meeting sales goals and business objectives.

• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of account strategies.

• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to uncover growth opportunities.

• Provide regular updates on account performance and market insights to senior management.

• Lead promotional activities and marketing campaigns to boost product awareness and drive sales.

• Negotiate pricing and contracts to optimize profitability and market presence.

• Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to evaluate performance and identify improvement areas.

• Stay informed about industry trends and developments to guide business strategy and decision-making.

• Develop and implement a strategic territory plan, including Key Account Management for designated customers, regularly reviewed in the field with your manager.

• Optimize the reach and frequency of calls to customers based on strategic direct and product potential.

• Cultivate relationships with medical and scientific Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), particularly procurement pharmacists and other defined customers, in alignment with business unit strategies and overall company objectives.

• Represent the company at specific continuing pharmacy educational events, programs, medical meetings, and scientific conventions.

• Achieve Key Performance Indicators as detailed in objectives and field reports.

• Adhere to expense guidelines consistent with the established divisional budget.

• Maintain current and comprehensive knowledge of relevant Link Healthcare products, competitors, and general market trends.

• Attend relevant industry conferences to broaden understanding of pertinent therapeutic areas.

• Comprehend the challenges faced by customers who prescribe our products and by patients who utilize them.

• Perform duties in compliance with GDP regulations.

• Foster a Quality-focused mindset; Quality is everyone's responsibility.

• Ensure every team member has the opportunity to work in a safe and healthy environment.

• Stay updated on industry trends, innovative practices and techniques, current publications, regulations, etc.

• Keep abreast of Link Healthcare’s Quality Management System and Group Policies, ensuring compliance at all times.

• Ensure that all company-related activities adhere to applicable Acts, legal requirements, and ethical standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, particularly focusing on OTC, pharmacy banner groups, and major chain accounts.

• Demonstrated success in surpassing sales targets and driving business growth.

• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its regulatory landscape.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
